Introducing Mohamed Abarkane, Senior Partner Manager at the Copenhagen office ✨
What do you do?
I’m a Senior Partner Manager in Partner Sales, responsible for developing and managing Entercard’s strategic card partnership in Denmark.
My role focuses on driving sustainable growth by aligning strategies, identifying commercial opportunities, and strengthening the partnership to create value across the entire value chain. For Entercard, our partner, and the customers we serve.
I also focus on maintaining and developing a strong partner relationship, ensuring close alignment on objectives and long-term direction, while making sure the partnership operates in line with contractual obligations and agreed governance frameworks.
What does your team do?
Partner Sales works with Entercard’s card partners across the Nordic region, focusing on developing strong partnerships and growing our partner portfolios. We work closely with our partners to enhance customer offerings and identify new commercial opportunities that create value for both Entercard and our partners.
We act as the link between Entercard and our partners, coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure alignment across strategy, operations, and regulatory requirements.
What is the best thing about Entercard?
For me, one of the best things about Entercard is the people-focused culture and the opportunity to work closely across many parts of the organization.
There is a high level of professionalism and expertise across the company, and people are genuinely committed to delivering strong results together. I also appreciate the leadership structure, which creates an environment where people feel trusted, supported, and encouraged to contribute.
This creates opportunities to bring ideas forward, influence decisions, and work with talented colleagues to continuously improve our partnerships and customer offerings.
How is it to work in your role in the finance industry?
Working with partnerships in the financial industry is both challenging and exciting. The industry evolves rapidly, driven by new regulations, technological developments, and changing customer expectations.
This dynamic environment requires continuous adaptation, balancing commercial opportunities with strong governance and close collaboration across many stakeholders.
At the same time, these developments create opportunities to strengthen partnerships, enhance customer offerings, and ensure our solutions continue to meet both regulatory requirements and customer needs.
